» First Week

We’re a full week into the new year now.  (Yay 2009?)  I am pretty ambivalent as to how “awesome” or “dreadful” this year is starting out.  Last year, however, was a bad year for me.  I choose to remember the great things that happened in 2008, though.

• I went to Poland and saw my Babcia and cousins.
• I finally turned 21 and had a pretty good birthday celebration despite the fact that none of my close friends were there.
• I started a podcast and a production company.

Those are the three big things that happened in 2008 that made me very happy.  They were bright spots for me in a very dark year.

I suppose you could say my resolution for 2009 is to make next year’s list a little bit longer.
